Student Focus - Kaiden Sheppard

Congratulations to St Paul's Year 9 student, Kaiden Sheppard, who was nominated for the 2023 Australia Day Local Hero Award. Kaiden has shown incredible resilience despite being diagnosed with Type l diabetes at a young age. He has never allowed his medical condition to stop him from pursuing what he loves - as he's proven through his extraordinary success in martial arts. In 2022 he competed in both the NSW Junior States Titles and at national level in the Australian Titles Championship.
